Our approach at Skills4Success

Our approach is based on more than thirty years experience of what does and doesn’t work. During this time, we have developed a proven methodology that transforms organisations and delivers results in a way that is both empowering and motivating for all staff involved. 

Our approach is based on the following:

  • Ensuring we deliver rapid change to achieve your objectives more quickly
  • Maximising individual and team creativity
  • Empowering individuals and teams to deliver
  • Driving and sustaining significant performance improvement

We don’t believe in a ‘one size fits all’ approach. However, we do believe that there are certain key fundamentals that need to be adopted if transformational change is to be successful. These are as follows:

  1. Phase 1 - Scope the programme of work required to meet your strategic objectives including undertaking an organisation wide analysis to determine the key areas of focus and potential benefit. This will be identified and collectively agreed. The future state of the organisation will also be defined at this stage, together with the high level metrics that will be used to track progress during the transformation. Having defined the opportunity and the route map going forward, we will define the number of Rapid Improvement Events or Workshops (RIEs) required to deliver the change for each of the respective work streams.

  2. Phase 2 - In this phase we will undertake the detailed planning behind each of the RIEs, culminating in a Rapid Improvement Event. RIEs are typically full time 3 day 'doing' events that include a cross section of key individuals from across the pathway under review. At the end of the four days, the selected team will present the key changes made to the Executive Management Team.

  3. Phase 3 - Sustain the change by implementing regular performance review meetings with the Process Owner, Team Leader and Sponsor in attendance.
